Brian, owner of Brilec Electrical Services
About Brilec

30+ years qualified for the wiring. Genuinely fluent in the technology.

Brilec Electrical Services is run by Brian, a NICEIC-registered electrician based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, with over 30 years' experience in the trade. For most of that time it's been straightforward electrical work — rewires, renovations, general domestic installations — done properly and reliably.

The smart home side is newer, but it isn't a bolt-on. His own home runs as a live testbed for the same Home Assistant systems installed for clients — refined through years of daily use, not a manual read once and left — combined with hands-on Shelly wiring experience and registration as a Lightwave Pro installer. That's the reason Brilec can plan the wiring and the technology together, rather than treating them as two separate jobs.

How Brilec Works

One point of contact, start to finish

No handing off between a sparky and a separate AV or smart home installer who've never spoken to each other. One qualified person, responsible for the wiring and the technology together — and just as importantly, someone who turns up when arranged, follows through, and does exactly what was quoted.
